Help your business flourish in 2025
Posted on: Friday, January 10, 2025As part of their work to support the local economy Newark and Sherwood District Council are offering free tailored business support sessions aimed at helping local businesses grow and thrive.
Newark and Sherwood District Council, in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, have organised a business support surgery in which attendees can take advantage of a one-to-one session with Business Advisor Dawn Fear.
Businesses will have the opportunity to receive free expert advice from Dawn Fear, who has extensive experience in supporting businesses across various sectors and stages of development. Dawn can offer valuable insights into how to make your business flourish through her ‘critical friend’ approach.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss how to achieve your business goals and receive practical tips on how to strengthen your business.
There are six one-hour long slots available between 9.30am to 4.15pm on Thursday 6 February at Ollerton Advice Centre, Sycamore Road, Ollerton, NG22 9PS.

The support is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is part of Newark and Sherwood District Council’s wider programme of support for local businesses. The package of support also includes free grant and commercial property services, themed workshops, and discretionary rate relief on businesses premises.
