The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms for the East Midlands.

Although generally the weather outlook is warmer next week the Met Office has issued another yellow warming for thunderstorms on Sunday 23 June (lunch-time to midnight). And possible storms on Monday 24 June and Tuesday 25 June as well.

The Thunderstorms may develop bringing torrential rain and lightning, with possible flooding and disruption to travel.
