Sherwood Forest Arts and Crafts Centre

Sherwood Forest Arts and Craft Centre and Cafe lies in the beautifully converted coach house and stables of the former Edwinstowe Hall. Combine it with a visit to the forest for a great family day out - the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre is just a few minutes’ walk away.

The centre is home to a variety of unusual crafts including textiles, fossils and gemstones, paintings, candles, fabric crafts, hand crafted chocolate, handmade soap and jewellery. Visitors can buy unique and original gifts directly form the people who make them.

We regularly host craft demonstrations and exhibitions in our atrium. The Cafe in Sherwood Forest serves clotted cream teas, illy coffee and a variety of meals and snacks. There’s a quiet lounge and free wi-fi internet access.

Admission is free, as is the car park for the first 2 hours.

Family friendly and accessible

The craft centre’s studios are accessible to everyone including wheel chair users and prams and pushchairs are also welcome. There are also baby-changing facilities and a small outdoor picnic area.

Groups are welcome with or without prior notice.

The centre was recognised by you with a 2019 Certificate of Excellence, based on consistently great reviews on TripAdvisor. Read reviews and leave your own feedback on our Trip Advisor page.
