Unlock your business’ potential with the District Council’s business support surgery

Newark and Sherwood District Council, in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, has organised a business support surgery where attendees can take advantage of one-on-one sessions with Business Advisor Dawn Fear.

Dawn Fear has extensive experience in supporting businesses across various sectors and stages of development and can offer valuable insights into how to make your business flourish through her ‘critical friend’ approach.

Businesses will have the opportunity to ask relevant questions, discuss how to achieve their business goals, and receive practical tips they can directly implement in their organisation.

There are seven one-hour slots available between 9 am – 4:45 pm on Thursday, 15 May at Newark Beacon, Cafferata Way, Newark, NG24 2TN.

The support is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is part of Newark and Sherwood District Council’s wider programme of support for local businesses. This includes providing a free Grant Finder search service to help identify funding opportunities and business support schemes that are appropriate for you and your business. They can also support with commercial property searches if you are looking for somewhere to launch your business from or if you are looking to expand. In addition, throughout the year the District Council organises workshops and events such as the annual Economic Growth Conference targeting a range of businesses and industries where attendees can receive in-depth, expert-led advice.
