Volunteer Thank You Week 2025
Each year, Volunteer Thank You Week offers a special opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions of volunteers across the UK. Taking place from 2nd to 8th June, this national initiative shines a spotlight on the individuals who give their time, energy, and skills to support our communities.
Here in Newark and Sherwood, we’re proud to be part of this celebration. Our volunteers play a vital role in making our district a better place to live, work, and thrive. To show our appreciation, the District Council is hosting a series of events to thank and honour those who give so generously of themselves.
You can find out more about Volunteers' Week on their website.
