Wigsley Parish Council

Recorded in the Domesday Book, Wigsley is the smallest of a trio of settlements (along with Thorney and Harby) which together form a small Nottinghamshire enclave jutting out into the neighbouring county of Lincolnshire.

It’s a peaceful spot which holds the accolade of being a ‘Thankful’ village due to losing no men during the first world war.
