District Council launches first-ever Apprentice Open Day

The day will begin with a dedicated session for schools from 10am to 12pm, followed by a drop-in event for the general public from 12pm to 2pm.

Attendees will have the chance to meet representatives from different business units from across the District Council, explore live apprenticeship vacancies, and learn more about how they can earn while they learn in a supportive and community-focused environment.

The event will also feature a Speakers’ Corner, where former apprentices will share their personal journeys and career successes, alongside interactive games and activities to make the day engaging and memorable.
