Festive season opening hours for our offices and changes to bin collections

Check out our adjusted schedule during the Christmas and New Year period.

As the holiday season approaches, we want to ensure that you are well informed about the opening hours of our offices. Please take note of the following schedule adjustments for the festive period.

Castle House, Newark

  • Christmas Eve: 09:00 – 16:00
  • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Boxing Day: Closed
  • Friday 27 December: 09:00 – 17:00
  • Monday 30 December: 09:00 – 17:00
  • Tuesday 31 December: 09:00 – 17:00
  • New Year's Day: Closed
  • Thursday 2 January: 09:00 – 17:00

Ollerton Advice Office

  • Christmas Eve: 09:00 – 15:30
  • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Boxing Day: Closed
  • Friday 27 December: Closed
  • Monday 30 December: 09:00 – 16:30
  • Tuesday 31 December: 09:00 – 16:30
  • New Year's Day: Closed
  • Thursday 2 January: 09:00 – 16:30

For any urgent inquiries such as emergency repairs (immediate danger to your safety, or that of your Council property), please call 01636 650 000. There are options for emergencies the same as on evenings and weekends.

Christmas Changes to Bin Collections

Our fantastic waste collection teams are getting a well deserved break on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day so we've rescheduled a few collections over the festive period. If your collection is not listed, it will be taking place as normal.
