Bathley Parish Council
The rural village of Bathley is situated approximately five miles north west of Newark-on-Trent in the district of Nottinghamshire.
The village enjoys a long history, being mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. Bathley is also home to the oldest recorded house in Nottinghamshire.
The focal point of the village is The Crown Inn and, in the absence of a village hall, this welcoming pub serves many functions. There are many designated footpaths and bridlepaths connecting the surrounding villages.
