Volunteer at the Palace Theatre, Newark
The Palace Theatre's volunteer support team assist in front of house duties, poster distribution and being ambassadors for the theatre.

Volunteer in our parks
Join The Friends of Sconce and Devon Park to help the Council to manage and maintain this well-loved green space. The voluntary group meets every other month, helping with events, park facilities and promoting the history of the space. New members are always welcome.
The Friends of Vicar Water Country Park meet regularly and welcome new members. No experience is needed - only enthusiasm and tasks range from woodland thinning to conducting visitor surveys.

Volunteer with Home Start, Newark
Home Start are recruiting for volunteers across Newark and Ollerton for one-to-one home support and for their family group in Newark.

Volunteer at the PDSA Charity Shop, Newark
The PDSA's charity shops play a huge role in raising the funds needed to care for the animals that arrive across their 48 pet hospitals each day. Charity shop volunteers take part in a wide range of activities that support the day-to-day running of the shops from customer service to processing transactions on the tills, replenishing the stock on the shop floor, or perfecting eye-catching displays to entice customers in! Behind the scenes, volunteers also get involved in sorting donations, finding hidden gems and preparing goods for sale.
