Arts development
Newark and Sherwood has many creative groups and organisations and a variety of arts venues.
Our arts development officer supports local individuals and groups in developing sustainable and high quality arts activities and initiatives.
With our partners we can provide support, advice and grant funding for a variety of arts initiatives.
We can also help promote the many opportunities available for everyone to take part in arts and cultural activities across the district.
We are keen to help with projects including:
- drawing and painting
- arts and crafts
- music
- drama and theatre
