Data Protection Policy

This policy sets out how the council aims to ensure that all the personal information it collects is used in a fair and lawful way and that the appropriate safeguards are in place to protect that information.

Fees Policy

The fees policy describes how the council will calculate any charges made for providing information under Freedom of Information, Data Protection or the Environmental Information Regulations. This includes the charges for printed copies of information contained in the council's Publication Scheme.

Complaints Procedure

The complaints procedure details how we deal with complaints about how we have dealt with requests for information. It also explains your statutory right to take a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office, if you are not happy with our final response.

Records management, retention and disposal policy.

This policy describes how records are managed and the time and method of disposal for records that are no longer required.
