If you pay for a garden waste collection service you can put your tree in your garden waste bin for recycling.

Council Christmas tree collections - 

We can save your car by collecting your Christmas tree for recycling. It costs £5 and you can book a collection online or by calling customer services on 01636 650000.

Old trees will need to be accessible near to the edge of the property (but not on the highway). We cannot give an exact date for collection but will come as soon as we can after Christmas.

This collection is only for real Christmas trees. We do not take artificial Christmas trees.

Local recycling centres 

All real trees can be taken to the county’s Recycling Centres. Trees taken for recycling are shredded for composting, turning waste into a green resource.
