Housing advice

Housing Options at Newark and Sherwood District Council

The council's Housing Options team offers a free impartial and confidential housing advice service to anyone living within the district. Our aim is to prevent homelessness wherever possible by providing innovative solutions to housing problems.

We can provide advice for anyone: who owns their own home; renting; sharing; or living in a council or housing association property. We also provide guidance on a wide range of options available to anyone struggling to cope as a result of recession.
