Our contracts register gives information about existing council contracts.
Some contracts are let through a framework agreement set up by a group of local authorities or one of the public sector buying organisations such as the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) or the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO).
Finding our Tenders
We do not maintain an approved suppliers list but advertise any tender work as and when contracts are due to expire, or when new requirements arise.
In line with other local authorities in Nottinghamshire, contract opportunities are advertised on the Source Nottinghamshire web portal and/or the EastMidsTenders portal.
We are also required to advertise on the national Contracts Finder web portal all contract opportunities with a total value estimated to be greater than £25,000 unless the council's contract procedure rules stipulate otherwise.
The portal is part of the UK government's ongoing transparency initiative aimed at making it easier for businesses to find and apply for public sector contracts.
Contracts with a total value that exceeds the relevant OJEU threshold must be advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) but these tenders will also be posted on the Contracts Finder and Source Nottinghamshire portals where appropriate.
You can register free-of-charge with the above websites for email alerts in order to receive contract opportunities tailored to your specific business interests.
The National Fraud Initiative
This is an exercise that matches electronic data within and between public and private sector bodies to prevent and detect fraud.
